Welcome to my blog..... Look at the Youtube video online

While at the Daguerreian Society's Symposium hosted by the Atlanta History Center,  the Library of Congress had an exhibit called With Malice Toward None, The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition.

It begins in Lincoln's early career as an attorney....and it wasn't mentioned but Lincoln was one of the secret correspondents who sent credit reports to the R.G. Dun & co. firm. So, all his long trips away you know he was interviewing storekeepers. Further, I was unaware he drafted two letters concerning the Kansas-Nebraska Act, which is Steamboat Arabia's key issue....Ok, now I have to request those copies because I want to know what his view point was in 1855.

Don't feel bad that you have missed this exhibit in Atlanta. Carol Johnson, the Curator of Photographs at the Library of Congress told me the exhibit was headed to Omaha- So I emailed her asking which museum and got this reply

Hi Elizabeth,
It was great to see you in Atlanta. Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Wonderful news about the American Antiquarian Society. Congradulations!!!
The Lincoln exhibit will be at the Durham Museum in Omaha, January 15, 2011 - March 20, 2011.
Best wishes,
Carol

This is called a  traveling exhibit so more people can have the opportunity to see the exhibit, so if you want to see it, you can go to the Durham Museum in Omaha, Nebraska which will run from January 15, 2011 - March 20, 2011

Don't be surprised that  after seeing this exhibit you will want to go back to the Steamboat Arabia Museum to get another look.
